Summerland Pork is a family-run hog farm owned and operated by Randy and Jill Switzer, located at 85640 512 Ave in Ewing, Nebraska. We raise our own pigs right here on our farm and sell pork directly to local customers.
We believe in doing things the way a family farm should — raising our hogs ourselves and selling straight to the families and neighbors who buy from us, rather than going through a middleman. When you order from Summerland Pork, you're getting pork raised right down the road, not shipped in from somewhere you've never been.

What Makes It "Specialty Pork"
We raise what we call specialty pork. It's built around the same idea as certified organic — we're just not certified. Our hogs are heritage breeds, including Red Wattle, Berkshire, and Mangalitsa, fed non-GMO grains and raised outdoors on dirt rather than in confinement. They're raised drug-free with no vaccinations whatsoever, and we don't use soybean meal as a protein source.
We believe in the value of healthy food, because we are what we eat — and animals are the same way, they are what they eat. Food is medicine, which is why we feed our hogs the way we do, and why we wanted to offer a meat product to people that we would eat ourselves.
